How do I winterize the EDC?2019-01-25T21:00:14+00:00

The EDC canister must be winterized in areas prone to freezing temperatures. To winterize, remove the EDC canister lid and pump lid. Use a wet or dry vacuum to remove all the water from the EDC. Replace the EDC lid and proceed with your normal winterizing process. Consult your local pool professional for the best winterizing method.

Notice: All water must be removed from the EDC canister in areas that experienced freezing temperatures. Failure to do so will cause damage to the canister that will not be covered under warranty.

Replacement for the blue mesh bag.2019-02-18T20:24:07+00:00

The new part is a molded basket, part number 005-152-2207-00, that holds more debris. If you have debris like dog hair, pine needles, and fine silt debris that needs a fine mesh bag, part number is 004-152-4517-00. The fine mesh bag fits inside the molded basket and must be used with the basket not by itself.

Why is the EDC sucking air?2019-02-18T20:40:35+00:00

First clean or change the O-ring on the lid. If that does not stop the air leak it could be a plugged main drain or skimmer line, or a leak in the plumbing from the main drain or skimmer. You will need to call a professional to do a blow-out and pressure test on that line.
